Pilates Reformer Bed Classes


Pilates' reformer beds are specialised spring loaded machines designed to provide resistance to muscles for strengthening & stretching. They can also provide an unstable moving base so that the deep stability muscles are worked at the same time.

What is Bumps Pilates?

Pilates is a form of exercise which combines flexibility and strength training with body awareness, breathing and relaxation. The exercises are based on certain movement patterns performed with your tummy and pelvic floor muscles known in Pilates as the "stable core". Class Costs


Casual class $20
10 session pass $180

Classes may be claimed on private health insurance under "extra's cover". A receipt will be provided to claim with your health insurer.

 

Pilates Ball & Band Classes


Swiss balls are used to provide an unstable base which results in activation of the deep abdominal muscles. Therabands are used to provide resistance to strengthen specific muscle groups. Pilates matwork exercises are also performed in this class.

NOTE: The Post natal Recovery class is currently not running due to renovations at Harold Holt Swim centre. All post natal women can attend ANY of the reformer classes instead, crèche facilities on-site.
